Designer Pendant Lights to Beautify Any Room

I finally found the perfect pendant lights for our living room. They’re designed by Heka Lighting and they meet all of my requirements – they’re modern yet timeless, well-designed, and affordable. I ended up getting the copper version, but I also liked the black version. I can’t stop looking at them! I’ve found some more that I liked and that I want to share, just in case others are also searching for a stylish and well-designed hanging lamp. Since we moved into our new home, I was on the lookout for the perfect pendant lights for the central part of our living room. I wanted something modern yet timeless that would be both remarkable and affordable, without looking too extraordinary. Just very well-designed.

Some weeks ago, I finally found the right ones: designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963, Lightyears Orient P1 pendants meet all of my requirements. It took me a while to decide whether to get the copper or black version, but I ended up going with copper and I can’t stop looking at them. Having said that, I’ve found some more that I liked and that I want to share, just in case others are also searching for a stylish and well-designed hanging lamp. The following list may be useful for them.

Tradition Copenhagen

&Tradition’s Copenhagen pendant is a perfect balance between industrial feeling and elegance. Designed by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, the Copenhagen lamp has the potential to become a new classic. The lamp is made of white opal glass and brass, and it comes in two sizes. The small size is 30 cm in diameter and the large size is 50 cm in diameter. The price for the small size starts at €230€ and the price for the large size starts at €270€. The Copenhagen lamp is a beautiful addition to any home, and it is sure to become a new classic.

Normann Copenhagen Bell

If you’re looking for modern, Scandinavian-inspired design, Normann Copenhagen is a label you should definitely have on your radar. I particularly love this Bell-inspired lamp, which was designed by Andreas Lund and Jacob Rudbeck. They paid special attention to details and emphasized the gathering point between the cord and the lamp itself in a contemporary way. The lamp is available in different colors and sizes, starting at €230. So if you’re in search of stylish, well-designed pieces for your home, Normann Copenhagen should definitely be your go-to label. You won’t be disappointed!

Schneid Eikon

Schneid is a young German design studio that creates beautiful, contemporary nordic lighting and furniture. One of their most popular pieces is the Eikon light, which costs about €250 and is available in different forms and colors. The Eikon is unique because it is the only piece in Schneid’s collection that has no Scandinavian origins. This makes it a great option for people who want to add a touch of nordic style to their home without completely committing to the look. The warm wood tones and simple silhouette of the Eikon make it a versatile piece that can easily be integrated into any decor style. Whether you use it as a bedside lamp or a dining room chandelier, the Eikon is sure to add both function and style to your home.

Nordic Tales Bright Bloom

Nordic Tales is a lesser known label, but their 2014 Bright Bloom model–designed by Jonas Hoejgaard–is a top-notch pendant for way less money (about €155). The pendant comes in white and copper, and is a beautiful addition to any home. Hazel (about €150) and Bright Sprout (about €90) are also great options from Nordic Tales. All of the products are well-made and add a touch of elegance to any space. Nordic Tales is definitely a label to keep an eye on in the future.
